In this step, you will create a list of potential solutions and evaluate them based on factors like budget, features and supplemental options, customizations, and the implementation process and timeframe. In most cases, evaluating features is as simple as comparing apples to apples. Make a spreadsheet to identify aspects you like and dislike about each application. Also make notes on your interactions with the provider relating to traits like responsiveness, longevity, accessibility, trust, etc. Be sure to ask questions and request software demonstrations.
